Range of
applications
- CNC controlled Die-Less knife cutting,
punching, and pen-marking for a wide range of materials. The reciprocating
knife (also known as an oscillating knife) can be controlled by electrical or
pneumatic motor. A CNC milling (routing) tool is also available. The
reciprocating knife can cut materials that vary greatly in thickness and in
stiffness into very intricate shapes. Optional available to cut foams up to 5"
thick. Materials include, but are not limited to: Non-asbestos, Teflon,
plastics, graphite, tanged-graphite, rubber, cork, paper, foam (up to 5"
thick), composites (carbon-fiber and many others), wood, leather, vinyl, insole
board, texon, etc.
Advantages
- Eliminates Tooling Costs - Knife cutting
technology means you never have to buy dies again. Patterns can be loaded
directly from CAD programs, so production can begin immediately.
- Section Cutting Surface Vacuum - The
vacuum only works in areas that have material, increasing the effective vacuum
force where you need it.
- Simultaneous Cutting and Nesting - The
cutting surface can be sectioned, allowing the operator to nest one section
will the machine is cutting the other section.
- CAD Conversion - Easily convert drawings
from your existing CAD program (in DXF format). Once the drawings have been
converted, you can adjust cutting and milling parameters in order to ensure the
best possible cutting results based on the cut shape and material
type.
- Many different knife shapes are available
- Knife choice is dependent on the cut shape and material type.
- Punching tools and pen-marking included.

- Extended bridge height to cut materials
up to 5" thick.
- Parts projection directly onto the
cutting table - Perfect to simplify nesting, especially on scrap or odd shaped
materials.
- CCD Vision System - The camera system
allows cutting to registration points, especially useful for the printing
industry.

- CAD for the shoe and leather goods
industry, including size grading.
