Atom MF Series Oil-Dynamic Clicking Press With Turning Arm - A swing beam hydraulic presses sometimes known as a clicker. It is used to cut leather and man made materials. When choosing this type of machine the things to remember are:
  • A. The material fits on the bed of the press.
  • B. The die fits under the swing beam and does not stick out on either side.
  • C. The amount of cutting rule is limited, so it does not overload the press.

CP 2283-30E 2 axis computer press - 30 ton, 2 axis computer press with a nylon (or urethane) cutting belt. 2 axis machines can easily nest circles, squares and rectangles for excellent yields. Cutting belts are best used for flimsy or sticky materials. Materials that will slide across a cutting pad do not need to be cut on a belt since belts are expensive to replace. Cutting pads are not expensive. Use cutting belts only when necessary to move material through the cutting area. Ask us if a cutting belt is appropriate for your work.
FH 3063-70E (Single slide table) - A 70 ton four pillar press with a slide table and 7.1” stroke. Excellent all around diecutter for thin sheet material or thick foam planks. Can cut with the die blade up or down. A Best Buy. Also available with 30 or 100 tons of pressure.
FH 5563-100(DoubleAutoSlideTable) - A 100 ton four pillar press with a large bed size of 55” deep by 63” wide is used to cut large parts. Other large bed sizes are available. Having two slide tables allows the machine to be twice as productive as a single slide table for only a small additional cost. Dies can cut with the blade facing up or down and different height dies can be used from each side of the press.

It also plays a big role in simple manual operations as well. The full head press in its simple form with a hand slide table is used to cut material from sheets. The dies can be hand placed, mounted to the bridge, or on the table blade up. In the first two cases, the cutting pad is on the slide table of the press. The material to be cut is placed on the cutting pad. The cutting dies are placed on top of the material. The bridge then pushes the dies through the material from the top. In the third case, the die is on the table cutting edge up. This way it does not have to be handled if it is large and heavy. The material to be cut goes on top of the die. The pad is mounted to the bridge. In general one cuts large parts with large dies out of sheets of material. The press should be big enough for the dies and have enough cutting force. Various feed systems can be adapted to the presses as well as pad shifting devices.

USA Series Hydraulic Receding Head Presses - The receding head press is a very versatile die cutting machine. It has the benefits of both the full head press and the traveling head press. The bridge covers the whole cutting area. After a cut it recedes or goes back away from the operator leaving the cutting area open for easy access. With this type of operation one can use small dies or large dies and cut from sheets of rolls of material. The machine can kiss cut or cut to registration depending on what accessories are purchased.
USA Traveling Head - The traveling head press is used to cut man made material that comes on rolls. The width can vary from 60” to over 100”. The bed depth generally runs from 20” to 30”. Larger machines can be provided to meet customer’s needs. The depth of the head is usually the same as the bed depth. The width of the head is normally the same as the depth. There are exceptions where it can be wider or narrower. The die should be smaller then the head of the press. The amount of cutting rule should be within the capacity of the machine. The cutting force can be from 20 to 150 tons. Different feed systems are available to assist the operator.

USA-CP-25 (Die rotation, inboard and outboard pneumatic pinch roll and conveyor) - 25 ton computer die cutting system with inboard and outboard pinch roll feeds exit conveyor, and 360 degree head rotation. With in and out pinch rolls, all material will move completely through the cutting area. Pinch rolls are good for 1 to 3 plies of material. The exit conveyor makes it easy to collect cut parts. The rotating head and nesting software provide excellent material yields.
USA-CP-25 (Long automated incremental feed table) - This computer die cutting system can have 2 axis (non-rotating head) or 3 axis (rotating head for nesting) capability. Cutting pressure can be 25 to 150 tons. The long incremental feed table is good for cutting long sheeted material that is flimsy or possibly sticky that would not easily slide across a cutting pad.
USA-CP-25 (Two axis controlled by servo drives, pneumatic pinch roll infeed, pad with pad shifter and touch screen operator interface) - The two axis (non-rotating head) is controlled by servo drives. It has an inboard pinch roll feed, pad and pad shifter, and touch screen operator interface. The non-rotating head is good for shapes like circles, squares, rectangles, and other shapes. The pinch roll is good for feeding 1 to 3 rolls of material. Servo drives provide accuracy of up to +/- .02mm. The touch screen operator interface provides easy set up and programming. Cutting pressure can be from 25 to 150 tons.
USA-CP-30 (Die rotation, inboard clamping beam and exit conveyor) - Provides excellent material yield with head rotation and optional nesting software. Multiple plies can often be cut on the belt with inboard conveyor. There is a belt shifter to improve the life of the belt. Cutting belts are advisable for cutting flimsy or sticky materials. Otherwise, a cutting pad is preferred because cutting pads are much less expensive to replace than cutting belts.
USA-CP-70 (Die rotation and inboard and outboard pneumatic pinch rolls) - 70 ton computer diecutting system with inboard and outboard pneumatic pinch rolls. This is a high tonnage machine for cutting difficult materials or when using dies with lots of rule. Two axis or three axis models are available with head rotation and nesting software for excellent material yields. Cutting pressure of 40, 60, 100 and 150 tons are also available.
